Pricing questions, answered straight.
Is the hourly rate really the whole price?
Yes, for ACH payments. $10 per hour for your first 90 days and $10.50 thereafter covers the contractor's above-market rate, a wellness subsidy, HIPAA training, ongoing skill development, coverage continuity and your named Ask Velma coordination contact. There is no onboarding fee, no recruiting fee and no cancellation fee. Card payments add a 3% processing fee. If your practice requires a dedicated VPN, your practice covers that cost and we handle installation and setup.
How does billing work?
Bi-weekly invoices for your VA's tracked hours, plus the 6 US federal holidays and 5 non-worked days a year your practice covers at the standard hourly rate. Nothing else. Paid by ACH or credit card. ACH is free and card payments carry a 3% processing fee. Engagements start at 32 hours per week, and your VA observes 6 US federal holidays plus five non-worked days per year, both covered by your practice at the standard rate.
Why is there a 32-hour weekly minimum?
Because it is what makes the quality real. A dedicated near-full-time seat lets your VA learn your workflows deeply and lets us hold the above-market rates that keep exceptional VAs with your practice.
What paperwork is involved?
A simple path: review and sign the Master Service Agreement (MSA), interview your candidates, sign the Statement of Work (SOW) and Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and set up payment, then set the start date. Most practices complete it inside two to three weeks.
