Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized bilingual and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to join our remote team. This full-time remote role will support our doctors in the USA by handling a wide range of office-based tasks remotely. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, appointments, and patient records.
  • Handle correspondence with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims processing to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Prepare and maintain medical documents and reports in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Offer technical support for telehealth services, assisting both doctors and patients as needed.
  • Contribute to team efforts by completing additional tasks and supporting other functions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Open to feedback and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability in completing tasks.
  • Must be based in Latin America with a reliable internet connection.
  • Experience working with North American teams is a plus.
